Security: Protected Fax Reception

Expecting a confidential fax? Follow these three simple steps to password protect your incoming faxes
By securing your fax reception with a code. incoming faxes will not be printed out, but rather stored in the fax memory. Only after entering a PIN code can you print out these fax transmissions. With function 27, you can input a PIN code, activate the secured fax reception mode or print out stored fax transmissions.
Entering the PIN Code
1. Press MENU/OK,
27 and OK.
2. Using the arrow keys select answer code and confirm with OK. Enter a four-digit PIN code.
3. Confirm with OK. Pressing C will return you to the previous menu step; pressing STOP will return you to the root menu.
Activation/Deactivation
1. Press MENU/OK,
27 and OK.
